I have been tearing up the floor in my house this weekend. The house is 180+ years old. There was tile, four layers of linoleum, plywood, fiber board, pine boards; over 2 inches thick. This is a hand cut nail that held on the last layer onto the original planks.

If you are doing any work where you need to put in a lot of screws (sheet rock, putting down floor…) get one of these. It makes the job so much easier. Rigid makes a cheaper one I have not used, maybe try that; but this thing is wonderful.

Working Out
My neighbor Pete is in his early 50’s. He gets up every day in the dark early morning, all year round and goes rowing. I see him Feb, when I am just out with Wallace, bundled up and he is in shorts, t-shirt and a fleece hat, sweaty, just getting home. He is ripped. He looks photo shopped. I awoke early today, at 5:20 I heard his old truck crunch down his gravel driveway. I took Wallace out, saw a deer. Read a note from my girlfriend she was going to spinning. Wallace and I jumped in my truck and drove the 8 windy miles along the north river to the Coffee shack, for this home made hand cut bastard. Shit it was good.
